The BW series (Bite to Wire) crimp hose fittings are suitable to be used on medium and high pressure braided and spiral hoses. They are called bite to wire because the serrations on the ferrule actually bite into the wire reinforcement of the hose, making the crimp connection stronger than other crimps.
