JIC Fittings Assembly Torque
Proper torque is critical when assembling JIC flare fittings to ensure they meet the pressure ratings defined by SAE J514 standards. Both under-tightening and over-tightening can lead to loss of pressure performance. Please refer to the table below for recommended JIC assembly torque values.
