DIN 2353 metric tube fittings consist of a body, cutting ring (ferrule) and nut. On assembly, the two cutting edges of the ring (ferrule) bite into the outer surface of the tube ensuring the necessary holding power and seal for high operating pressures and extreme vibration.

Metric O.D. sizes range from 4mm to 42mm. The raw materials include AISI 304(1.4401), AISI 316L(1.4404) & AISI 316Ti(1.4571).

What’s DIN 2353 Fittings?

Metric tube fittings are a type of metric tube fitting designed to be conformed with DIN 2353 & ISO 8434-1 standard pipes and tubes. DIN stands for “Deutsches Institut für Normung”, meaning “German institute for Standardization”.

They are commonly used in automotive, industrial, and aerospace applications, and feature a higher level of leak-proofing compared to traditional fittings.

DIN 2353 Fittings Pressure Series:

DIN 2353 tube fittings offer in 3 different pressure series – LL for Extra Light used in low pressure applications, L for Light used medium pressure applications and S for Heavy used high pressure applications. They are identified by measuring the thread size and pitch as well as tube OD.
